- Participation
The information below gives you the option of registering for and paying for online training in accordance with the Infection Prevention Act which will teach you the most important hygiene regulations relating to handling food. Once you have completed the training session, you will receive a certificate which you will need to provide to your employer. The training is online, which means that you can complete the training from home or from another location. You only need a PC, notebook, tablet, smartphone or similar device and a stable internet connection.
A fee is charged to attend the training. You can find out more under "2. Registration".
What the training process involves: You will watch a video, which lasts around 20 minutes, in German (foreign languages are available as subtitles) and read an information sheet (available in various languages). Then you will complete a multiple choice test (where you put a cross next to the correct answer) to demonstrate your learning. You can also retake the test if necessary.
You can download the certificate straight after you have successfully completed the test. In exceptional cases, we will also send your certificate by email. Since sending the certificate by email is not a secure method of transmission, we would like to highlight the risks associated with this.
The training sessions are offered Monday to Friday from
8.00 AM to
8.30 PM and
Saturdays from
9.00 AM to
3.30 PM.
The TZG (Technologiezentrum Glehn GmbH, Hauptstraße 76, 41352 Korschenbroich-Glehn, Germany) provides the training platform and is available to answer any technical questions before, during and after the lesson. The technical content of the online lesson in accordance with Section 42 and 43 of the Infection Protection Act (IfSG) has been reviewed and approved by the public health department.
